YOU have the POWER

When life knocks you down and the devil enters in your head, at the moment when you feel like your life is done and there isn't much you can do. When you say I AM DONE and the tears start rolling down your face. That's where the breaking point begins but what do you do?  Do you start tearing yourself down or do you try to get yourself back up? About a month ago I went through some doubting of my own self during a situation and something that I have been born with. During this situation God shifted me in such an amazing way I must say during this time when I was going through this I learned two things SELF LOVE & SELF ACCEPTANCE. So I would like to share my experience and what I went through and how I overcame this small little thing that I let overtake my life. So many of you know and many don’t know but I was born deaf in my right ear and with being deaf it lead to a few things, the main thing that it has affected my education and in the way I learn well with that being said I have been struggling in a certain class and so I was going to go through a program that might help me. During this process of applying to the program and filling out all the paperwork, I reached a breaking point, where I started feeling frustrated and putting myself down for something that I was born with.  Sunday, February 18, 2018, in our Sunday serving I started feeling God’s presence. We started singing this song called so will I by Hill song United as I sang this song so much overwhelming and emotions went through my body. On February 21, 2018, was a very significant night and the way God connects things, at our young adult service we had a guest service by the name of Ty Buckingham and at the end of the service he did a prayer. He felt that God shared with him to pray for certain things that night. So the three things were people who were deaf, partial hearing and back problems. If anyone had those he wanted to go up to the stage so he and the rest of everyone could pray for us. So, of course, I went up, he started praying over my ear that there would be healing and that I would be able to hear out of that ear one day. That week was the week I would call so powerful from the two sermons. That made a shift in my life view and the way I see myself.
So concluding this we all deal with something that could be so small or so big in life that’s puts us down deep in the pits of life. Which one is not very healthy and two we block people who would want to be there for us or who can help us get out of this messy mindset,  it honestly it all goes back to the dirty little devil who starts it all! What we need to do is stand firm and talk to the devil I know that sounds crazy but this what we need to say, DEVIL, YOU HAVE NO PLACE IN MY LIFE! In all, we have the power inside us to conquer this world and things that were meant for us. Like it says in the bible we are all made for a purpose. We may not what the purpose it yet, but one day we will find what it is. What I want you all to get from this learning to love yourself no matter what and to accept where you are in life. I think we struggle with this on daily basis, but I want this to be an encouragement to push forward and not to look back on life or blame something because you don't fit society view of where they want you in life. I can finally say I am the happiest person and where my life is right now and each day I am grateful for everything. I hope this helps someone out there in the world! Thank you for taking time to read this.

Brooke

M ❤️ M S • S P E C I AL • D A Y

mom: The woman who loves you unconditionally from birth, the one who puts her kids before herself and the one who you can always count on above everyone else. Just telling her your problems makes you feel better because mom's always know how to make it all go away. Even if you fight, know that she's just looking out for your best interests.

Today is a special day for all women!Whether your a mom a grandma or an aunt or going to be a mom or in the future you dream to be a mom. This is your day we say thank you for  all you do and show you our appreciation.

I would like to share a little about my mom and why she is important to me. First of all God trusted and knew that she needed to be my mom and I am extremely thankful for her. She has never left my side through the ups and downs in life she has always been there. In March of 2011 I thought I would never have a mom but God knew that I still needed her. Not only do we have mom's but we also have the greatest friend, mentor,he one who listen to all our crazy stories of life, our protectors. the queen of our kingdom, and the list can go on. So I hope every mom knows she is simply AMAZING even when you don't feel like you are know God choose this as your ministry! He knew you could be the best mother to the children he has blessed you with whether your kids drive you crazy.  I also so a special prayer to all those who have lost a mother may you always know they are watching over you and so proud of you!So let's give a BIG SHOUT OUT TO  ALL THE BEAUTIFUL MAMAS OUT THEIR DOING THEIR THING!

You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body
and knit me together in my mother’s womb.

💚Miracle Month💚

Trusting God can be hard thing and we might get angry and upset with him because we don't understand what he might be doing in our lives.
On March 16,2011 was one of the hardest days being 17 years old  as junior in high school. This day I received the news I never wanted to hear my mom got sick at the gym and passed out then they rushed her to the hospital from Visalia to Fresno to San Fransisco and in San Fransisco to find out she suffered a brain aneurysm, they say that if you get a brain aneurysm that you may never walk again or talk or do much. So my mom was in the ICU for 2 weeks!!! And was able to come home after spending two weeks in ICU, now you may ask how could this happen because when you come together  with your church and family and surround yourself with prayer warriors you get to witness a miracle. The road to recovery was taking each day, day by day and thanking God for saving her and protecting her from the beginning til this day. Now we look back on a six year journey that began on March 16th,2011 and reflect on what amazing God we serve and he the ultimatum healer. We also want to say A BIG BIG BIG THANK YOU TO OUR GOD, FAMILY , FRIENDS AND OUR CHURCH FAMILY AND CVC SCHOOL AND EVERYONE ELSE thank you for staying by our side during a tough journey we went through and thank for everything you did by taking time out of your life to be with us, we truly appreciate you and for God putting you in our lives so that we did not face this journey alone.

So today we celebrate 6 years of amazing journey God took us through and tested our faith and where we had to truly put our whole trust in him and now we are able to share our amazing testimony with others.

And by His stripes (wounds) we are healed. Isaiah 53:5 AMP

нαρρу ναℓєитιиєѕ❥

Everyone's favorite holiday is here well should I  say most of us like this holiday on the other hand if your single or just went through a break up you might not be a fan of this holiday. Valentines has arrived! Yay!!! Today I thought just sharing some encouraging things just because you don't have a special someone spend this day with or may not receive flowers or gift. So here we go!
God's love is the greatest love you will ever receive

If your single or dating or even engaged make smart decisions, respect each other and don't do anything that you will regret.
If you don't have valentine or don't get asked out I strongly encourage you not get discouraged or be let down just remember God has someone extra special for you!
1 Corinthians 13:4-8New Living Translation (NLT)
4 Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud 5 or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. 6 It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. 7 Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. 8 Prophecy and speaking in unknown languages[a] and special knowledge will become useless. But love will last forever!
Mark 12:30-31Amplified Bible (AMP) | 30 and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul (life), and with all your mind (thought, understanding), and with all your strength.’ 31 This is the second: ‘You shall [unselfishly] [a]love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”

Personal Story:
Growing up I enjoyed valentines day getting to go to school knowing your going to get to have party and get cards from classmates then I started getting older and realized everyone had a valentine but me so I started hating this holiday but now I think of this holiday as a there is someone who does love me and has cared for me since he thought of me before I was born and that's God's! His love is ever lasting and he will always be my number one valentine!❤

So may this valentine whether you have a valentine or not that remember that there is someone who loves you and watches over you and protects you daily and his love and his death on the cross is his present to you! Now enjoy today no matter the circumstance your in single, dating or married! Go have fun and make memories with the ones your close to!

Happy Valentines Day!

xoxo,

Happy New Years🎇🎉🍻

As we walk away from 2016 and as like every year we always have our good memories and bad but I encourage you to always look on the positive side of life and reflect on the good things in life. So as we enter 2017 I pray that God blesses you this year and this will be your year!  This year trust in God and he will guide you where you belong and he will put the right things that he has planned for you.
I am the Lord, who opened a way through the waters, making a dry path through the sea. “But forget all that— it is nothing compared to what I am going to do. For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland. Isaiah 43:16, 18-19 NLT
         Make 2017 YOUR YEAR and
                 make the best of it!

Happy ❤️ Holidays

As the holiday's are around the corner, let's take a time to remember the true meaning of Christmas is... The birth of Jesus! As you come together with your loved ones and enjoy each others company. I encourage you as your sitting around the Christmas tree or the table to take a minute and together reflect what Christmas means to you and read in the bible what Christmas is all about and share. Another encouragement would be if someone is not able to have a Christmas that you are able to bless them some how with a Christmas whether that you purchases presents for them or invite them for a Christmas get together. I pray peace over your Christmas season that it is a stress free and that your able to enjoy your time with your loved one and amend anything that may stop you from celebrating the Christmas season with your loved ones.

Blessings to you this Christmas!

↞тнαикfυℓℓ↠

As we reflect of the month of November as the month to be thankful. I am thankful for many things but two main things I am thankful for are my family and my church. When no one else is there for you or you feel at your lowest or just need an encouragement your family will always be there for you no matter what and for me personally I have lost many people in my life but I don't let it affect me because I know my family are my best friends.
Church has such a big impact in my life to be able to be raised in a Christian home and have the ability to serve and use my passion for kids, students and media in my church and being able to be an example to others around me. I hope sometime today that you take a minute and reflect on the positive things around you and think of something that you are thankful for it can be a simple thing like being able to wake up each day to thankful for having something that is important to you. May you continue to not just be thankful in the month of November but daily because positive is better than negativity  I know that it is easier to think the negative but it's all the power of the mind and you have to train your self to think positive.

Hope you all have a wonderful week!

Brooke

Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good;
For His lovingkindness (graciousness, mercy, compassion) endures forever.
