ραѕѕισи + ρυяρσѕє
Today I would like to share with you my passion and purpose and how God showed me it, and how you can discover your passion and purpose!
“If you can’t figure out your purpose figure out your passion. For your passion will lead you
right into your purpose.” -TD Jakes
Growing up and trying to discover what you were meant to with your life can be one of the most frustrating thing in life! As I was growing up I had so many ideas of what I wanted to do with my life. So will share with you how I discovered how I found what I would like to possibly do as a career in the future.
I was probably in 6th or 7th grade and I was asked by the Pastor at the time if I wanted to help out in the snack bar area and my answer was yes! So that was just a taste/ start of helping out in our youth ministry. Then two years later I was asked to do checking in the students as well as do offering. I continued helping out in any way that I could. As I graduated high school I didn’t I want to leave the youth ministry I wanted to continue volunteering because I enjoyed doing it! Now I run the social media pages and also do photography and a leader. I love being involved in the students’ lives of the central valley area and bonding with them and all our other leaders.  During my time being so involved in the youth ministry I felt like God showed me that this was my passion.
About a two months ago I was asked if I was interested in doing photography of our worship team and our lead pastor during our weekend services and of course my answer was yes! During this time I discovered a new passion and something I enjoyed doing! Just to hold that camera with an amazing lens and discover amazing shots. As doing this I was thinking this is something that I want to do as a career in the future.
With sharing with you these two stories on how I discover my passion and purpose. I want to tell you that you have to start out somewhere small with something then build from that. Another thing that you can do is start with something then if that doesn’t try something else until you find something that you enjoy and your passion about!
Hope you enjoyed this blog! I pray blessings over you!

 Always, Brook Prado
